For a small procurement request, an exact specification is more useful than a broad product name. Send the supplier listing or full share text, expected quantity, target budget and the requirements that cannot change.

1688 purchases use the published standard buying fee schedule. Supplier minimum order quantities, sample availability, packaging, production timing and domestic delivery are checked for your particular request. Any extra sourcing, testing or other optional work is separately agreed before it begins.

Standard buying fees also apply to 1688

For Taobao, Pinduoduo, 1688 and JD.com, an order with a product subtotal up to CNY 300 has a buying fee of 5% of the product subtotal, with a minimum of US$5. Above CNY 300 and up to CNY 2,000, the fee is 8% of the product subtotal. Above CNY 2,000, the fee is 5% of the product subtotal.

The product subtotal is the total price of all items and quantities in the order. China domestic shipping, international shipping, payment charges, optional services, duties and taxes are excluded from the fee base. The selected tier applies to the entire product subtotal.

For small standard-platform orders, the 5% fee and US$5 minimum are compared using the exchange rate confirmed in your quote; the higher amount applies. The Xianyu US$5 fixed fee is billed separately in USD. The website does not automatically convert currencies or assume an exchange rate. Fee thresholds use the CNY product subtotal; orders priced in other currencies require an individual quote.

The published tiers apply to single-platform orders. Requests combining platforms and purchases from other stores receive a manually confirmed service fee before purchasing.

• Expected quantity, and whether a smaller sample order is required first.
• Target budget and the currency you are using.
• Materials, dimensions, color, model, tolerance or other necessary specifications.
• Required accessories, packaging and labeling.
• Destination country and any timing requirements.
• Whether the request includes several suppliers or repeat purchasing plans.
