Privacy Policy
How Merqelio Buy handles inquiry contact details, product share text, screenshots and service communications.
Information you provide
A quote request asks for your name, email, destination country and item details. You may also provide a WhatsApp number, contact and currency preferences, specifications, notes and screenshots. Your submitted language preference is kept separately from the destination country.
Do not include passwords, payment card details, identity documents or other information unrelated to the inquiry. Remove unnecessary personal information from screenshots before uploading them.
How the information is used
Inquiry information is used to review requested items, communicate with you, prepare and record a quote, coordinate agreed assistance and follow up on the request. A unique reference helps identify the inquiry.
The IP address used to submit a website inquiry is stored with that inquiry and is accessible only to authorized staff to detect spam, investigate abuse and protect the forms. It is not included in public analytics or customer confirmation emails. Website operations may record limited diagnostic information; private share text, screenshots and contact details should not be included in public analytics.
Service providers and disclosures
The website uses Cloudflare for hosting, spam protection, D1 inquiry records and private attachments. These services process the information needed for their respective functions. Email contact links open your device’s default email app; messages are sent through the email service you choose and reviewed and answered manually. Automatic website confirmation and notification emails are not currently enabled.
If you choose a WhatsApp link, you leave this site for WhatsApp. A prefilled message is only a draft until you send it there. Seller, shipping or payment coordination may require relevant details to be shared after the service scope is agreed; unnecessary information should not be shared.
Storage, access and retention
Inquiry records and attachments are intended for authorized staff access. Temporary unassociated uploads expire and are cleaned up through the configured maintenance process. Security controls reduce risk but cannot guarantee that no incident will occur.
The operator must publish a reviewed retention schedule before launch, covering inactive inquiries, completed service records, temporary uploads and legally required records. Retention should be limited to the purposes described here and applicable obligations.
Cookies and local browser storage
A security session cookie is used for protected form requests and attachment ownership. Temporary browser storage may carry the product text or estimate from the homepage to the quote form on the same device. It is not a customer account.
Turnstile is used for spam protection when configured. Optional analytics should only be loaded when properly configured and subject to any applicable consent requirements. This site does not treat a WhatsApp click as proof that a message was sent.
Your requests and the privacy contact
You may ask about access to, correction of or deletion of your inquiry information through the verified contact details on the Contact page, quoting the inquiry reference where possible. Identity may need to be checked before a request is fulfilled.
Available rights and any exceptions depend on applicable law. The operator’s identity, privacy contact and policy effective date must be completed before this policy is made final.
