Items we do not accept

Requests involving illegal goods, weapons, explosives, controlled substances, stolen goods, counterfeits or other prohibited trade are not accepted. We do not help evade customs controls, misdescribe goods or falsify declared values.

This page is a screening guide, not an exhaustive statement of every country’s rules. An item being listed on a marketplace does not establish that purchasing, exporting or importing it is permitted.

Sensitive goods need a specific review

• Batteries, powered devices and items containing lithium batteries.
• Liquids, gels, aerosols, powders and chemical products.
• Food, supplements, medicines, medical products and cosmetics.
• Plants, seeds, animal products and materials with trade controls.
• Magnets, sharp objects, pressurized containers or other handling-sensitive goods.
• High-value, fragile, oversized or branded items requiring additional assessment.

Disclose the relevant details

Send the exact listing and describe the contents accurately. For a device, explain whether a battery is installed or separate. For liquids or other sensitive contents, provide the information needed to assess the particular product and route.

Do not conceal a restricted item inside another purchase. If suitable information or an eligible route is unavailable, the request may be declined before purchasing.

Check the destination as well as the route

The destination customs authority and the selected carrier may apply different restrictions. Eligibility can depend on product composition, quantity, packaging and required documentation.

Ask for an individual review before committing to a purchase. You may also need independent advice or authorization for regulated products; ordinary buying assistance does not provide product certification or a legal import opinion.
